Polymer Components was founded in 1982 specifically as a supplier of hand
lay-up fittings (flanges, elbows, and tees) to fabricators. Fittings, now of
various types are still the major part of our business and we have added
filament wound threaded fittings, compression molded socket flanges, and a
program to furnish special components (non-stock) fabrications. Even the
standard hand lay-up flanges are available in conventional (flange built up on
a pipe section) or one-piece construction, both in domestic fabrication or
imported. Stock quantities have increased to a level of 5-6,000 pieces in a
wide range of sizes and various corrosion resistant resins. What we don't have
in stock, we can generally furnish in 2 weeks or less.
As the business has expanded, we have added other products that we feel will
help the fabricator be more efficient, more profitable, and expand their
market. We now have available mechanical pipe couplings (suitable for any plain
end pipe), PVC valves, and dampers. New products are also available for Air
Pollution Control. We are marketing tower packing, packing support plates, bent
blade mist eliminators, and FRP fans.
Our focus remains as an OEM supplier to fabricators, furnishing parts that can
improve your business.
